History on Martial Arts Involvement

  • Started practicing Chinese Martial Arts since he was four years old.
  • 1988 – Manages the Jocelyn Toy Martial Arts School.
  • Instructor in charge of the adapted program in Tai Chi Chuan at the Institute of Physical Rehabilitation of Quebec from 1988 until 1990.
  • 1993 – Person in charge of the program Tai Chi Chuan at the Cegep of Saint-Foy.
  • Trainer of Patrick Bochard, speed skater, part of the Olympic Canadian Team from 1996 until 1999.
  • 1996 – Chosen by the delegation of the Shaolin Monks of China to be their Master of Ceremony and spokesman of their demonstration in Montreal.
  • Instructor at the World Martial Arts Convention (WKF) from 1999 until 2003.
  • Security Chronicler at Salut Bonjour Quebec (2002-2003).
  • Person in charge of the program, ‘Tactical Defence’ in collaboration with the RCMP from 2002 until 2003.
  • Member of the Organizing Committee for “Un Monde a faire” of the Quebec City Chamber of Commerce from 2006 until 2008.
